This may be the chrome issue from above or it could be Malware. What to do. I would use a different browser just to see if the problem happens with it.
If it does not I would re-install chrome. I would also run Malwarebytes just to be safe. I ran Malwarebytes and it didn’t find any malicious software although the unknown process still appears. I closed Chrome and the computer is running a bit better but still spikes.
As soon as I open an application though, it gets a bit worse and if I have a few open at once it comes to a near standstill even though I have 8GB RAM.
