Hi all, so today, I turned on my PC and all was well until my ssd containing the os got disconnected, so after I fixed the connection and rebooted, the windows 10 logo cane up and the loading dots started spinning, and it has never been able to get past this. On some boots, it says “preparing system repair” then goes to a black screen with a controllable cursor.

Check if it helps. Then try to perform the below methods and check if it helps. Start or boot your computer from the installation media. Click on Advanced Options. Then on click on Startup Settings.
Click on Restart and choose Safe mode with Networking or Low resolution. Step 2 : I would suggest you to update the latest driver for display adapter in Device Manager. Expand Display Adapter. Right click on the driver and click on Update driver software. Note: We need a Wired Internet Connection to update drivers in safe mode. I have not had any updates as of recent. Each time I try to restart my computer it just shuts off.
Also this windows 10 was the free upgrade so I do not have anything to reboot it with. Help would be appreciated. In reply to LarryRingstad’s post on August 22, It won’t run. It asks to load from DVD. The DVD spins as if loading. It never brings me to the install windows option as mentioned in step 3. I can never get it to load from the USB at all. I have tried all boot options but USB lights up but never attempts to load anything. I keep getting stuck, it’s been almost a week.
